How do I receive the files?
Purchase the kit through Etsy, download the ZIP, and extract it on your computer. Begin with the included quick-start guide.
What software do I need?
You’ll need spreadsheet software that supports XLSX files and a PDF reader. CSV versions contain plain values without formulas or formatting. After importing into a different spreadsheet app, review formulas, times, and dropdowns.
What calculations are included?
The budget calculates planned costs, actual spending, and remaining budget. Schedule end times calculate from the start times and durations you enter. Later start times do not shift automatically.
Can I reuse it for other films?
Yes, for your own personal and commercial film projects. You can share completed plans with your production team. Do not resell, redistribute, or publicly upload the blank kit, guide, or worked example. See the included license.
Is this suitable for my production?
It’s designed for small short-film projects and aspiring filmmakers. It’s an organizational planning aid; contracts, releases, and payroll administration are not included. The worked example’s people, situations, and costs are fictional.
